That Couple

Have you ever seen something like this
says my lover. He does a jig

I can only describe as resplendent.
I haven’t. I say so. Dinner.

We remark on how strange
it would be to have security cameras

in our home. A threesome
in every doorway.

A dance with unblinking audience.
My ponies displayed for the state.

Which brings us here. Us
catching your red eye in the corner

of this airport Chili’s. Your lens
could gloss the world.

Now you watch us as we
sidle. Mouths low, heads tilted.

We’re little twisted cherry
people who are so so hot.

We saw you from across the bar.
We’re gonna fucking kill you.
